What would your team look like if it acted with more courage in its daily interaction?
Would it face challenges head-on? Would it increase it’s efficiency, productivity, and accuracy?
Would your team develop
new communication strategies? Would your team address conflict in a productive and positive way? Would the level of
employee morale increase?
|
Dysfunctional teams display a lack of desire or ability to deal with conflict . Often they address symptoms of conflict
but allow the source of conflict to fester.
Dysfunctional teams are also more likely to be characterized by a lack of accountability (i.e. culture of blame,
defensiveness, and "CYA") rather than a climate of responsiveness and responsibility.
Courageous Teaming is a set of team building activities that are entertaining, relevant, & sustaining; not just
fun
and games. It uses the concept of Courage to help teams achieve breakthroughs in performance, connectedness, & interaction!
Esprit de corps (the spirit of the team) is every bit as important to the teams success as the skills and talent of
each individual team member. The truth is, teams can have solid goals, clearly defined roles, and carefully crafted
policies, but if team members don’t get along, the team won’t be successful. Courageous Teaming incorporates these
concepts into a structured program to address your total team needs.

How do we do it?
|
GLC uses a combination of automated “pulse check” surveys & personality/behavioral/work style assessments,
to establish a baseline team member perception about the team. GLC uses that analysis to create a unique
Courageous Teaming program that includes experiential activities and action plans for on-going team maintenance.
|
"Each time that GLC has worked with us, they have had the uncanny ability to identify issues that our teams were wrestling with.
Their programs seemed perfectly tailored to our firm and we saw immediate improvement as a result of their efforts."
