Tish Vallés  brings the fusion of East and West to Giant Leap, with 18 years of strategic experience in brand, marketing and communication spanning Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.

Tish not only belongs to that influential group in modern day business thinking that possess an East-West sensibility, she also brings to the table a truly multicultural perspective. She is an American citizen of Filipino-Spanish mix and has lived in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, New Mexico and New York. She speaks English, Spanish Filipino, a local dialect and is ‘taxi-conversant’ in five more languages.

Her work on global brands at the most-awarded communications agency in Asia Pacific has given her that unique blend of broad Asian/Global perspective and market-specific sensitivity. She is able to both draw from broad insight areas that find universal relevance across markets; and tap into nuances and idiosyncrasies that are culturally specific.

Inspired by successes on the leadership team driving NPD, brand and communications strategy across Asia Pacific Tish returned to New York in 2007 where she continues to expand her work, complementing the Western marketplace with her Asian expertise and vast planning experience.

An eloquent strategist, Tish brings an intelligence that is characterised by a refreshing blend of curiosity, creativity, bravery and articulacy. The Giant Leap closest to her heart is co-founding The Women’s Worldwide Web (www.womensworldwideweb.org), an online platform advocating human rights through the financial and educational empowerment of women. The platform is currently under development and due to launch in the fall of 2009.

A traveller at heart, Tish maintains roots in New York, New Mexico, The Philippines and Paris, where The Women’s Worldwide Web is based.
